There are two consoles. The skipper’s console has a large dash area that will accommodate a large number of gauges and accessories. The steering position will accept any type of steering system. The passenger console includes a spacious cubby and a grab handle. There is ample room for radios and other accessories. Skipper and passenger chairs are comfortable upholstered bucket seats that swivel through 360 degrees.

CONFIGURATION

The hull is a mono-hull, deep ‘V’. The sharp keel enters the water well forward and with the two large outside chimes make this a very comfortable hull in rough water. The carpeted front deck includes two removable cushioned seats and one removable swivel fishing seat. Three dry hatches provide spacious under deck storage and above the deck is a front cubby hole. The vast rear cockpit area between driver/passenger seats and rear deck measures 1800 mm by 1700 mm and is flanked by side cubbies for paddle storage. Under gunwale hangers ensure all cables and wiring is stored neatly and safely. The carpeted rear deck (1700 mm wide, more than 450 mm long) includes a seat fitting that doubles as a ski pole holder and three hatches. These access one battery box, one oil tank tray and one tank tray. The transom is stepped back and raised and is between two rear swim steps with grab handles for easy access into the boat.

 CONSTRUCTION

Manufactured using isothalic polyester resins, chopped strand mat, woven roving mat, marine gel coats, together with wood. The top and bottom are bonded together internally and externally. SABS approved foams are used for under deck buoyancy.
Plywood stringers are encapsulated in fibreglass.
